In recent days, it was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the World Real Estate FIABCI Summit, an important event that brings together international delegations from over 100 real estate professionals and international associations. Panama was also present with the assistance of the Association of Brokers and Real Estate (ACOBIR) that managed to sign an agreement and Panama was chosen to host this important event next year.

* FIABCI is a global network whose membership is open to all professionals involved in real estate, allowing members to maximize their business opportunities through the exchange of information and contacts at local, national and international level.

* The FIABCI membership includes 100 real estate organizations representing more than 1.5 million professionals, 60 academic institutions and 3,000 individuals and businesses. Each real discipline is displayed within FIABCI and extend its operations into four major regions: Africa, America, Asia Pacific and Europe.

* Panama managed to sign an agreement to be the host country of this important event in 2016.

Under the FIABCI World Congress, held recently in Malaysia, was signed an agreement in which Panama will host the World Congress of the International Real Estate Federation FIABCI 2016, which will celebrate its 67th edition.

The Panamanian Association of Brokers and Real Estate (ACOBIR) was present at this important event for the real estate industry. The delegation, led by President Katherine Shahani, participated in several presentations and conferences. After the event, were able to sign a deal for May 2016, when Panama will be the country that receives real estate professionals in over 70 countries worldwide.

From May 21 to May 26, 2016, meeting with representatives of the real estate sector in different countries will be developed. Also, there will be thematic forums, lectures by national and international exhibitors and special events such as the World Prix d’Excellence award, which rewards developments real estate worldwide.
